Sohan II Ardeyi is the third Ardeyi King to sit in the Sky Throne of Phyrozes, succeeding his father, Eran II Ardeyi after his abdication in 235 AE. The Goddess Elonie appeared in his coronation, and he was known as the Sun King ever since.
Appearance
Sohan was said to greatly resembled Derin the Liberator in appearance. He has white hair of old Traxei blood that he keeps long and unbound, with blood-red eyes which he inherited from the Varkrys lineage of his grandmother, Lady Abaeras Aleran. Sohan is considered tall for a Traxei, standing on five feet seven.
As a young child, Sohan was trained and taught by Lady Abaeras Aleran – the mannerism carried over with the way he spoke and the way he dressed; with many sources stating that Sohan perhaps ‘believed himself to be more Varkrys, at the least in soul, than he is a Traxei’. He wears the crown of Leren the Usurper.
Personality and Character
Sohan is considered to be quick-witted and wise, though in his youth, he was quick to anger and slow to forgive. As a young man, Sohan was an experienced warrior – he refused to bond or hatch any rugha, for he had his eyes on Sun-Eater, who previously belonged to his uncle, Prince Derin Ardeyi.
Sohan has a close bond to his maternal cousin, Lord Barros Aleran. Barros calls him Lonie, and in return, Sohan calls him Herdal. They have been seen wearing matching sun and moon robes in banquets and visitations.
