Appearance
Thurga is a tall woman, described to have the body ‘that could bear and nurse a village of children, if she wish for so’. She has pale, rosy skin that is always kept supple with tallow and rose oil concoction. Her hair is wavy, worn just past the shoulders, and commonly styled in braids. She has pale blue eyes and traditionally paints her lips with red ochre.
She dresses in fitted garments of heavy wool and fur, favoring richly pigmented colors. Fox and wolf fur coats are common in her attire. She wears gold and silver jewelry, and she wears brass bangles set with various gemstones on both her hands. Her love for jewels and gems became more prominent following her marriage to Kael, with an ambassador to Ulfdinhar noting that ‘The lady wife of the Wolf wore bangles of different colored-gems from her wrists to her elbows’.
Personality and Character
Known for her wisdom, Thurga has plenty of her own rights and even sits in Kael’s council in The Wolf’s Keep. In her own right, Thurga is allowed to hold court on behalf of Kael, and Kael would sought her for advice and opinions on many things.
Thurga is a good hunter and an even better rider. it was said that she has a ‘sophisticated handwriting, especially for an Ulfhar’, and is fond of abacus. Thurga does not dance nor does she sing, but she is a patron of the arts – with a quarter of her spending goes for funding bards and artists.
Thurga is family-oriented and enjoy spending time with children.
