Eihanfi
The language of Ederav

Eihanfi is the shared language of the Empire, functioning as its administrative, scholarly, ceremonial, and daily language used for converstion. While all six kingdoms within the empire formally recognize Eihanfi as their only language spoken, the six kingdoms of Ederav fractured it to distinct regional dialects. These dialect differences often becomes a frequent source of misunderstanding, misinterpretaion, and diplomatic friction.

Eihanfi is not merely an imperial construct, but a divinely inherited language. Eihanfi was first spoken by the Gods themselves and recorded in the holy scripture of Ath-Einhaf.

The Varkrys adhere closely to formal, structured Eihanfi. They emphasize precision, hierarchy, and rhetorical elegance. Their speech mirrors imperial decrees and legal scripture, favoring complete clauses, honorifics, and elevated vocabulary. To the Varkrys, Eihanfi is a tool of order; speaking it well is a sign of discipline and legitimacy.

The Traxei employ an informal, streamlined Eihanfi.

The Venefian preserve Eihanfi as the living extension of the Ath-Einhaf. Their dialect is saturated with devotional phrasing, blessings, and divine framing. Even the most mundane statements are often cast as acknowledgements of providence. Where the Varkrys are formal, the Venefian are reverent; speech itself is an act of faith.
