Mayathi
The Goddess of Death

Mayathi, also pronounced and spelled as Uma’yathi or Mahayathi, is the consort of Vaherdal and the daughter of Vaherdal and Elonie. According to the Holy Scriptures of Ath-Einhaf, Mayathi collects to the souls of the dead and place them on a cradle on her lap, tending to each and every soul until Ehanfi visits her to take said souls for reincarnation and rebirth.

The Holy scriptures of Ath-Einhaf mentioned that Mayathi’s birth was accidental; after Elonie created the sun and negotiated the cycle of dusk and dawn with Vaherdal, Mayathi emerged during the third dawn – right by the moment of absolute darkness when the sun has vanished but the moon has yet to rise. She was said to be ‘shrouded by night’. Upon finding her, Vaherdal brought her to the realm of the Gods.
